Szelet (meaning a ‘slice’ in English) is a really small pizzeria located in Budapest, Hungary.
Miklós Kiss started by coming up with the name ‘Szelet’. After that he designed its identity, the interior design, the packaging and its website.
“I wanted to choose a strong concept which can be developed into a franchise later. Therefore I have chosen a very intense colour –red– and a familiar shape that evokes the ‘world’ of pizzeria and fast food restaurants”.Miklós Kiss is a designer and visual artist from Budapest, Hungary. Currently architecture, design and graphic design are his work fields. There is an outstanding aesthetic quality and strong artistic approach characterizing his implementation of work.

Vårdapoteket is a Swedish pharmacy chain with 24 pharmacies placed in care related locations. To distinguish and contrast themselves from the often very clinical and barren environments that hospitals make out, SDL developed a new identity inspired by the human body.
With a strong and positive color palette and a pattern based on the internal organs of the human body, a strong base for their new identity was created. This graphic language is now used in all types of applications; from in-store wallpaper to all sorts of printed material, such as stationery, retail and POS materials.
We provided Vårdapoteket with a simple and playful toolbox that creates an inspiring identity and much appreciated retail environment.

It’s Nice That: Words Words Words at Selfridges
The 14 foot high hand-built wooden rollercoaster (constructed by model makersAtom) is surrounded by a sea of 30,000 brightly coloured balls filled with 30,000 unique fortunes that can be picked up in store for free.
Inside the balls, shoppers will find a small card emblazoned with a uniquely numbered adjective, generated by a clever computer programme that leaves each individual with their own personal, playful prediction for 2012.
